Mesh AI: Toward a Non-Linear Model of Human-Centered Intelligence

April 27, 2026 · Brian Ho

Most AI systems answer the question you asked. This piece asks whether a system can hold what you have not yet said. A design philosophy on context as a network rather than a queue, and on what understanding would actually require structurally, ethically, and over time.

Project Sentinel: A Modular, Offline-First Edge AI Framework for Resilient Community Infrastructure

September 3, 2025 · Brian Ho

A multi-year open research initiative designing, building, and validating a privacy-first, fully offline edge AI platform for under-resourced environments. Project Sentinel investigates whether modular, self-healing AI infrastructure can provide meaningful network security, environmental monitoring, and community resilience — running on low-cost hardware with no cloud dependency.

Architectural Patience: When Isolation Isn't an Outage

May 29, 2026 · Brian Ho

Most engineering treats outage as transient and assumes the disaster ends. This piece asks the question almost no system is designed for: what if outside support never comes back? It makes the case for architectural patience: systems that stay independent by design, degrade gracefully instead of falling off a cliff, and preserve what matters longest, with Voyager 1 as the model.

He@lio Chatbot Pilot Program — University of Washington Capstone

June 30, 2026 · Joydeep Hazra, Brian Ho, Amber Lee, Casey Frizzell, Jaspreet Bhamipuri, Ko-Ching Lu, Rebecca Ko, Saba Ziadlou, Tim Joo, Trudy Xia, Veronica Lee

A six-month pilot program (January to June 2026) in collaboration with University of Washington Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) students as part of their Capstone project. Across six phases the teams evaluated He@lio's safety, ethics, and effectiveness, concluding with a final Capstone report and a handover of all research, safety frameworks, and product strategy to Compassion8Innovation.

Threat Landscape: Security Risks in Production Agentic AI Systems

June 13, 2026 · Mohul Chaudhari, Aaryan Gaurav, Joydeep Hazra

Agentic AI systems can reason, plan, hold memory, and execute tools, introducing cybersecurity risks that conventional frameworks were never designed to address. This white paper maps the emerging threat landscape across enterprise, academic, research, and federal environments, and proposes a four-domain risk taxonomy (Model Integrity, Operational Runtime, Data Governance, and Systemic Governance) that links each threat to concrete security controls.

AI Data Centres: The New Backbone of National Competitiveness

November 19, 2025 · Yugesh Panta, Santosh Kumar Nukavarapu, Joydeep Hazra, Sai Kiran Poka

Traditional data centres were built for CPU workloads and modest cooling demands — AI has overturned that logic entirely. This article examines how GPU clusters, liquid cooling, and ultra-fast fabrics are redefining data centre architecture, and proposes a three-tier taxonomy alongside a strategic framework to help governments and corporations scale AI infrastructure responsibly.
